Walmart Community Grant Program Continues to Support Small Business

Retail giant Walmart continues to support small business that benefits communities with grants ranging from $250 to $2,500. Eligible businesses include nonprofit organizations with programs that benefit communities within the service area of a Walmart store, Sam’s Club or Logistics facility.

Eligible programs

Nonprofits must be engaged in Hunger Relief & Healthy Eating, Sustainability, Women's Economic Empowerment and Opportunity, the four core areas of the Walmart Foundation. Other areas of focus may also be considered if they demonstrate benefits to the community.

Eligible organizations include nonprofits, church or faith-based organizations, and state/county/city government facilities such as a fire department or law enforcement organization.

Organizations have until the end of the year to apply. However, applications are active for 90 days, after which they must re-apply.
