Huntington Bank Named #1 SBA Lender in the Country

Huntington Bank has made extraordinary progress serving small businesses. They recently moved from their position as third largest to number one largest Small Business Administration (SBA) lender in the country.

Huntington now leads the nation in SBA lending in terms of number of loans and loan amounts. What is so very interesting about Huntington's number one position is the fact that they are not the number one bank in the country as far as assets go. Huntington is ranked 33rd in the country, AND they only make loans within a six-state region.
