Local entrepreneurs in the Washington, D.C. area have until February 15, 2015, to apply for a $15,000 - $20,000 grant. The grants are being offered by Industrial Bank as part of their Small Business Grant Initiative to celebrate 80 years in business.
The grants will provide necessary capital for small businesses to expand and continue to grow and succeed. The grants are offered to eligible existing, for profit, entrepreneurial enterprises. A total of $80,000 will be awarded to small companies who meet the criteria and do business within Industrial Bank’s service area.
Qualifying requirements
To qualify for a grant, businesses must meet the following criteria:
- Business must be at least one year old but no more than five years in business.
- Business revenue must be under $1 million.
- Business must be located in D.C., Prince Georges County, Montgomery County, Fairfax County, the City of Arlington, or the City of Alexandria.
