How to enter
Small businesses may enter the contest by answering 20 questions about their business performance, future plans, why the business deserves the $50,000 grant and how the grant money would help them grow their company. Businesses may apply online at www.lendingtree.com/about/business-grant.
This is the first grant contest launched by LendingTree, an online lending exchange that connects consumers with multiple lenders, banks, and credit partners for business loans. They have facilitated over $200 million in small business loan originations. Since their founding in 1996, they have been committed to helping small businesses thrive and grow by connecting small businesses with right lenders to meet their financial needs.
LendingTree has more than 40 business partners who make it possible for small businesses to find funding. One of its partners, Bizfi, is teaming up with LendingTree for the contest. Both organizations understand the needs of small business owners and the struggles they face in securing financial resources to grow their businesses. The grant contest shows their initiative to do even more for small businesses. Doug Lebda, founder and CEO of LendingTree, stated: "We wanted to take our commitment one step farther by granting $50,000 to help one small business achieve even more success.”

The deadline to enter for a chance to win a $50K small business grant is January 13, 2017, 5:00 P.M. EST.
