Start A Business In Alaska And Get $20K In Seed Funding

Entrepreneurs who are interested in starting a business in Alaska could be eligible for a grant of up to $20,000. The Alaska Small Business Development Center has $50,000 to award entrepreneurs and innovators to help them get their businesses off the ground.

Small business owners may receive Kickstart Grants ranging from $3,000 to $10,000, and be eligible for the $20,000 Seed Grant. The Alaska Seed Fund is for innovators, creators and developers who create prototypes that will create opportunities for new products and high-growth companies in the state of Alaska. Up to 10 prizes will be awarded, plus one grand prize.

Eligibility

Applicants must be Alaskan residents and businesses. Eligible prototypes must be projects that fall within the fields funded by the National Science Foundation and have a strong path to commercialization. The Alaska Seed Fund grant program is being supported by The National Science Foundation, UA Experimental Program to Stimulate Cooperative Research, The Launch Alaska Accelerator, and the UAF Office of Intellectual Property and Commercialization.

Deadline
