Business Management Grants For Farmers in North Dakota

Young farmers in North Dakota who decide to enroll in a Farm Business Management Program can now apply for tuition grants to assist in their expenses. Sponsored by the ND FFA Foundation in Bismarck, cash grants in the amount of $500 per year will be awarded to 4 recipients.

The ND FFA Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that supports leadership opportunities and activities in the field of agricultural education and agribusiness.

Their Farm Business Management Programs offer hands-on training to educate farm owners and operators who are interested in enhancing their knowledge and skills in farming or ranching. They are taught to meet their business and personal goals via keeping quality records, making sound business decisions, and understanding comprehensive business analysis.

Applications are due on December 1, 2010 and preference will be given to new enrollees who are former FFA members and/or who belong to a local FFA Alumni group.

To apply, interested ones should visit www.ndffafoundation.com or call the foundation office at (701) 224-8390.
