Business Grant Program Launches in Simonton, Texas

The Simonton Development Corporation in Simonton, Texas has officially launched a Business Assistance Grant Program that will help local Fort Bend County businesses that need to make improvements. The funding is supported by a portion of the sales tax collected in Simonton, and administered by a seven-member board of directors.

Cash-match grants of up to $2,000 are being offered in three categories: 1) façade improvements for store fronts; 2) new or refurbished business signs; and 3) property improvements such as lighting and landscaping. The grants are only available to business owners and business building owners within the city limits of Simonton.
