Small businesses in Larimer County, Colorado, whose businesses were affected by the September 2013 flood have until February 21 to apply for the second round of Small Business Recovery Fund grant funding. The grants are on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the second round of funding offered through the Small Business Recovery Fund (SBRF) program. The program is supported by Blue Ocean Enterprises, the Richardson Foundation, and by the Bohemian Foundation and offered by the United Way of Larimer County.

The grants are being offered to get small businesses back on their feet which will also help the local economy. As Kurt Hoeven, CEO of Blue Ocean Holdings LLC stated, “Small businesses are critical to the stability of the local economy, and we encourage the business community to continue to support recovery efforts.” Mr. Hoeven encouraged other companies to contribute and support the recovery effort for small businesses.
