The Veterans Pathway to Business Success Program offers grant opportunities quarterly to help combat Veterans of the war in Afghanistan or Iraq who wish to start or grow their own business in the state of Florida. Average grants range from $30,000 to $40,000.
The grant program is for Florida veterans who served in Afghanistan or Iraq after September 11, 2001. Veterans must have a business plan at the time of application.
Grant money can be used for leasing office space, marketing, advertising and public relations, hiring workers, purchasing inventory, and capital to start or expand a business. Veterans may apply online with a completed application and business plan. The business plan must include a description of the business and its objectives and growth plans, and also explain how the grant money will be used.
The grant is offered by Veterans’ Pathway to Business Success, a Florida non-profit organization founded in 2012 by a veteran of the Korean War, Jerry Kramer. The organization is funded by donations from sponsors.
