Every year, The Blackstone Charitable Foundation awards a series of grants targeted to entrepreneurial organizations whose work benefits local communities. The grants focus on organizations that foster entrepreneurship and innovation.
Eligible organizations are those that promote entrepreneurship through education or foster the commercialization of technologies. Examples of products and services offered by companies who have received grants include teaching entrepreneurship to elementary school children, mentoring youth in low-income communities, and providing products and services to support early-stage entrepreneurs and startups.
Applications are accepted every summer for companies interested in applying for a grant. The most recent round of grants ranged from $50,000 to $125,000.
The Blackstone Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurship and funds projects that contribute to the economic growth of the nation. The foundation has dedicated $50 million to help support the work of entrepreneurs that result in high-growth businesses and industries that greatly influence economic growth.
