Motorola's charitable Motorola Solutions Foundation recently announced that grants are being offered to non-profit organizations who focus on public safety. Non-profits who offer education and training that help improve public safety in the U.S. or Canada are eligible to apply.
Eligible programs
Programs that are eligible for grants include those that provide education to the public on matters of safety, and programs that train first responders and support families who have lost loved ones who were first responders. Grants can be anywhere from $1,000 to $15,000 and are for local programs.
Deadline
The deadline to submit applications is August 1, 2014. Grant approvals will be announced in September of 2014. Grants may be submitted online.
