Xcel Energy Foundation Grants are awarded in four areas: education, environment, arts and culture, and economic sustainability. Eligible programs must be located inside Xcel Energy’s service area communities.
Eligible service area
Eligible areas include Minnesota and Colorado, Texas and New Mexico, Michigan and Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota. Two grant cycles are generally offered in a year. Application deadlines vary within each service area.
Eligible businesses
Eligible businesses must be non-profit organizations whose projects fall within the four areas targeted by Xcel Energy Foundation. Programs must increase accessibility in the art, create economic opportunities, improve the environment, or support education in mathematics and science.
