Small businesses in the state of Idaho have until May, 2015, to apply for International Market Access Grants (IMAG). Up to 50 business grants will be awarded by The Idaho Department of Commerce (IDC) and the Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA).
Eligibility
Businesses who qualify to apply for a grant must be a for-profit enterprise in business for not less than one year. The business must be either located in Idaho or have operations located in the state of Idaho. A 35 percent cash match is required. For example, if a business has expenditures of $2,500, they will receive a grant of $1,625, or 65 percent of the total.
Use of funds
The grant money may be used for a number of business-related expenses. This can include international trade shows, translating web site into other languages, foreign sales and trade missions, and other business expenses related to international trade.
