Once again, Chase is launching it's Mission Main Street Grant Program, offering small businesses a chance to win a $150,000 small business grant. The Google-sponsored grant program gives small businesses a chance to win a grant by answering 5 essay questions about entrepreneurship.
More grants awarded this time
Last time, 12 businesses received grants through the Mission Main Street Grant Program. This time, 20 businesses will receive grants of $150,000 each. Eligible businesses must be for-profit, located in the U.S., and be designated a small business, which means 100 or fewer employees.
Everyone is a winner
In addition to grants, winners will also be invited to Google's headquarters in Mountain View, California, to participate in a small-business marketing workshop. They will also receive a Chromebook laptop and a $2,000 credit toward a market research study with Google Consumer Surveys.
But everyone is a winner because eligible businesses who don't receive a grant will get a marketing toolkit and $150 to be used toward a Google Consumer Surveys research study.
