American Express Grants

American Express offers grants to non-profit organizations as part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility program. The company focuses grants in the areas of Leadership, Historic Preservation and Community Service.

Leadership

Programs that cultivate leadership opportunities for diverse communities within the nonprofit sector and are non-profit organizations would be eligible to submit a grant proposal. Programs that are of particular interest are those that are targeted to the arts, environment, higher education and social services.

Historic Preservation

AE supports organizations and projects that preserve or rediscover major historic sites and monuments, including historic landmarks and public spaces. This area of focus is important to ensure ongoing sustainable access and enjoyment of these sites for current and future generations.

Community Service

Projects in this category include programs that help victims of natural disasters, and programs that foster involvement in these programs by community members.
