If you are a non-profit organization located in South Florida, you may be eligible to win a $50,000 grant. Nonprofits who focus on programs that encourage youth to stay in school and continue their education may apply.
The grant is sponsored by Sun Life Financial and the Miami Dolphins. Sun Life Financial is one of the largest life insurance companies in the world, and one of the oldest, dating back to 1865. The Sun Life Rising Star Awards program provides financial resources to help improve the lives of underserved youth. Nonprofits who help students are eligible for a one-time grant of $50,000.
Nonprofits in South Florida, the home of the Miami Dolphins, may apply. Their programs must encourage educational success among high school students. They may also be organizations who work closely with schools and educational institutions to help students succeed in life by continuing their education.
Eligible non-profit organizations have until June 7, 2015 to apply.
